SWEET FOOD: Summer Ponzu Salad

Vocabulary:
Le cocombre (m) - cucumber
L’avocat (m) - avocado
La sauce ponzu (f) - Ponzu Sauce
Les graines de sésame (pl) - Sesame Seeds
Ponzu Summer Salad:
Ingredients:
2 cups of multicolored grape tomatoes
1 whole cucumber
1 avocado
1 cup ponzu sauce (store bought or homemade)
2 or 3 tablespoons of sesame seeds (add to taste)
Directions:
Chop all ingredients. Combine tomatoes, cucumber and avocado in a bowl. Douse veggies in ponzu sauce, add more to taste if needed. Top with sesame seeds. Enjoy!
Homemade Ponzu Sauce:
Ingredients:
1/2 cup low sodium soy sauce
1/4 fresh orange juice
2 tablespoons of fresh lemon juice
1 table spoon of mirin (sweet rice wine)
Directions:
Combine all ingredients in a bowl. Cover and chill.
